If you like this book, check out Laruen  DeStefano's new book: The Peculiar Night of the Blue Heart.
A Curious Tale of the In-Between by Lauren DeStefano starts off with one of the best lines ever: "Pram died just before she was born" (1). Really, how does one die before being born? Immediately, I reread it to be sure I understood what I just read. There was no choice but to read on and find out how this is even possible. This story of a girl who sees and communicates with ghosts reminds me of the  television show Ghost Whisperer (CBS). Pram might live with ghosts, but it isn't ghosts she needs to fear. It is people. Anyone who likes Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children will love this book. If you are a mystery lover, you will devour it.
